It is our great pleasure to inform you about the planning of a FORUM, which will be titled,

FROM BASIC MOTOR CONTROL TO FUNCTIONAL RECOVERY:

INTERNATIONAL HEATH CARE PERSPECTIVES ON

NEUROSCIENCE-INFORMED DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT:

The goals of the MCC2012 FORUM are to trace out how we may better translate the knowledge gained in Neuroscience and High Technology to Medical Practice.

More importantly, the aims are to understand various differences, successes, and failures in current health care policies in order to assemble a roadmap for Healthcare system organization. Proposed dates are 21 -24 September Sofia, Bulgaria.

We do hope that such atypical FORUM might make this meeting a richer experience for all and contribute to the Health Policy of Quality of Life.

We are all excited to have an atypical meeting of minds that can lead to innovative concepts, and would be delighted to have You to be part of this.

For years in Bulgaria

         The MOTOR CONTROL CONFERENCE (MCC) is an event with a long standing tradition inviting the participation and interest of leading scientists and clinicians in the Motor Control area, addressing from basic mechanisms in Motor Control area to functional restoration of Posture and Gait.

First Motor Control Conference (MCC1999) was launched in Varna, September 1999 and became an open Forum where, from ideas to implemented results in Motor Control area are presented, discussed and new ideas are born.

In the PREFACE to the First Motor Control Conference Book MCC1999, containing presented papers at the Motor Control Conference during the Fall of 1999 we wrote:

           "We look forward to further developments in the field of MOTOR CONTROL, which is a challenging and exciting life theme. We would like to believe that the organization of the FORUM ON MOTOR CONTROL is a step towards future communication among clinicians and scientists in their efforts to understand the "mysterious functions" of our Brain, aiming at a final outcome of improving the daily motor activity of Patients with Posture and Gait incapabilities."

The Motor Control Conference MCC is proposed and organized with its main goal to address the problems of Posture and Movement control and with the aim to provide an open Forum, where the link between clinical and theoretical points of view on Motor Control can be addressed, analyzed and enriched on the basis of exchanging new ideas and sharing experience.

The topics of the Motor Control Conference are directed to various aspects of Posture and Movement control, from Basic mechanisms to the Clinical aspects of the recovery of motor function, specific problems of body balance, co-ordination of posture and movements, and analysis of locomotion with special emphasis on clinical studies of movement disorders.

Now Walk on the paved Way and we propose to make a Step Forward and meet on FORUM of HEALTHCARE leading us to appropriate Quality of Life based on knowledge gained in Neuroscience and High Technology to Medical Practice.

We do hope that such atypical FORUM might make this meeting a richer experience for all and contribute to the Health Policy of Quality of Life.
